LiverPool FC

Liverpool FC was officially formed on 15th March 1892. LFC won their first Football League Title 1900/1901 season. 49 years later, liverpool made their first appearance at Wembley for the Wembley cup final against Arsenal. Despite their lost 2-0, over 100, 000 supporters lined the streets on their return to greet the losing Wembley Cup Finalist.
On December 1st, 1959, Bill Shankly officially took charge as Liverpool manager with a few days later, the Reds was crashed 4-0 home defeat against Cardiff. A week later, he recorded his first win 2-0 at Anfield against the Addicks. For the first time, the Reds won the FA cup under Shankly which defeated Leeds in 1965.
If winning the FA Cup for the first time in 1965 is regarded as the greatest day in the history of Liverpool Football Club, then there is no doubt that winning the European Cup for the first time in 1977 was the greatest night.
In 1985, the heysel disaster which no one will ever forget the tragic events at the Heysel Stadium in Brussels on May 29 1985. Liverpool were playing Juventus in the European Cup Final and what should have been one of the greatest nights in the club's history turned into the lowest.
1985/1986 season, the Reds won the FA cup final against the neighbour Mersey Everton.
Just after fours days, the reds snatched the FA cup dramatically from Arsenal and also the Worthington Cup already safely tucked in the Anfield Cup cabinet. 2001, liverpool completed an unprecedented cup treble which the Reds won the UEFA cup against Alaves.

On 2005, the most incredible nigght in the club's illustrious history Liverpool reclaimed their crown as KINGS OF EUROPE for the fifth time after the Reds defeated AC milan at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul. It was a biggest night football for Rafa Banitez that just less than a year took charge as the new manager of the Reds.
